Dr. Leonard S.W. Li is the Consultant Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine at the Tung Wah Hospital, and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of New South Wales, Australia. He has obtained Fellowships from various Medical Specialty Colleges, including the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians of London, the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Hong Kong College of Physicians and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. Dr. Li is one of the few physiatrists in Hong Kong dedicated to rehabilitation medicine throughout his entire career. He has been the physician in charge of Rehabaid Society's Driver Rehabilitation Programme even since its inception 20 years ago. Dr. Li serves on the Executive Council of the World Federation of Neurorehabilitation and has been elected Congress President for the 4th World Congress of Neurorehabilitation 2006 in Hong Kong. For many years, Dr. Li has been an advisor for various patient self-help groups, such as the Hong Kong Stroke Association, the Hong Kong Parkinson's Disease Association, the Hong Kong Neuromuscular Association, and Care for Your Heart. He is also a council member of the Hong Kong Brain Foundation and the Hong Kong Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
